The Proposal at Cupid's Corner

Some engagements are planned. This one was pure panic.

Nora Daniels returns to Cupid's Corner with three goals: survive her sister's Valentine's wedding, avoid her ex (the best man), and prove leaving was the right choice.
Announcing her engagement to a stranger wasn't on the list.
When her ex gives her that pitying look, Nora panics and claims the gorgeous veterinarian beside her is her fiancé. Dr. Simon Winters should correct her. Instead, he plays along—then discovers her mother already thinks he proposed.
The deal: fake it through the weekend, help each other out, walk away clean. Simon needs Nora's help with the town council. Nora needs Simon to save face.
But pretending gets complicated. The slow dances feel too real. The confessions cut too deep. And Nora realizes the man she's faking it with might be exactly what she's been missing.
